Due to the growing concern for the conservation of marine habitats, international regulations and conventions require countries to adopt management measures aimed at their conservation. These guidelines have been adopted in recent years in Spanish environmental policy, incorporating management tools aimed at protecting unique habitats into the regulations.
However, despite the efforts being made by the Spanish government to comply with these environmental policies, the fruits and achievements of these conservation policies do not reach the public.
For this reason, the project contemplates the realization of educational material that can be used in the classrooms of the centers, incorporating these concepts in a fun and participatory way in the learning of the child and youth population.
In short, it is a matter of enabling a new updated educational tool, which delves into new concepts related to the conservation of marine natural values, an essential task to raise awareness among future generations about the importance of conserving marine habitats.
