The project aims to conserve the populations of the Cantabrian brown bear as well as its habitat.
The project aims to conserve the populations of the Cantabrian brown bear as well as its habitat.
Specifically, it aims to:
- Reduce mortality or loss of specimens due to poaching.
- To carry out surveillance functions for the eradication of illegal ties.
- Monitor bear populations.
- To facilitate the involvement of social sectors in the conservation of the species, especially hunters and livestock societies.
- To increase the level of awareness regarding their conservation problems.
