- Reduce American red crab populations and their expansion.
- Conserve the clutches of salmonids and other species of river ecosystems.
- Raise awareness among the population about the counterproductive aspects of the presence of invasive species in native ecosystems.
- To disseminate the values of river ecosystems.
- Create and maintain employment.
