Digitalization of the Natural Heritage of the Province of Guadalajara (DIPROGU)
MITECO
- This project aims to collect, structure and digitize the information available on the natural heritage of Guadalajara. The information will cover habitats, species of fauna and flora, protected areas and unique natural elements.
- To this end, a system will be implemented to ensure compliance with the FAIR principles (Easy to find, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) and its compatibility with the Integrated Information System of the Spanish Inventory of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity (IEPNB).

Specific goals include:
- To increase knowledge of the natural heritage of the province of Guadalajara through the digitization of its elements.
- To promote the exchange of information related to the natural heritage of the province of Guadalajara through the use of digital tools.
- Train key local agents of the natural heritage of the province of Guadalajara on the use of digital tools to standardize the collection of digital data.
- Digitize data on terrestrial elements that make up the natural heritage of Guadalajara, from public administrations, other entities and from its own sources.
- To develop a digital data management tool for the Delegation of the Ministry of Sustainable Development of Guadalajara.
- Create a digital platform for the collection and consultation of data by other entities and own sources.
- Organization of training sessions on digital tools for the collection and management of natural heritage data.
