The overall objective of the project is to carry out a pilot project to disseminate information in Spain on the figure of “GMO-free zone” within the European context.

The overall objective of the project is to carry out a pilot project to disseminate information in Spain on the figure of “GMO-free zone” within the European context.

The project aims to:

• Provide information on genetically modified organisms in general and GMO-free zones in particular to local and regional authorities and civil organizations in the provinces of Albacete, Pontevedra, Seville and Zaragoza.
• Organize an information day in each of the provinces targeted by the project.
• Draw conclusions about the project for its possible extension to the rest of Spain.
