MITECO

The general objective of eco-TRANSFORMATE is to promote the acquisition of new knowledge related to the environment, energy efficiency and sustainability.

The general objective of eco-TRANSFORMATE is to promote the acquisition of new knowledge related to the environment, energy efficiency and sustainability.

The aim is for workers in these sectors, which are in the midst of a process of change, to adapt to the new needs that the market and society will demand: self-sustainable buildings, electric and hybrid vehicles and energy efficiency.

The initiative aims to promote a transformation and redefinition of the skills of these workers and promote innovation and the modernization of their services offered towards more sustainable ones, as well as the refocus of their professional careers towards green jobs.

Eco-TRANSFÓRMATE is promoted by the Union of Associations of Self-Employed Workers and Entrepreneurs (UATAE), a confederation of federations, associations and unions of self-employed workers and professionals from all sectoral and territorial areas of Spain. One of its main objectives is to promote and carry out training actions, in order to contribute to an improvement in the professional qualification of workers and their environment.

The recipients of the project will be mainly self-employed and workers of micro-SMEs belonging to the construction, repair and maintenance of vehicles and consultancies sectors, located in Castilla la Mancha, Extremadura, Murcia and Madrid. At least 70% of these workers will be self-employed and workers in SMEs and micro-SMEs.
