The main objective of the project is to promote the conservation of natural resources on a farm located in the SCI area in the municipality of Hoyo de Manzanares (Madrid) through traditional activities in the area such as beekeeping and sustainable rural development.

The main objective of the project is to promote the conservation of natural resources on a farm located in the SCI area in the municipality of Hoyo de Manzanares (Madrid) through traditional activities in the area such as beekeeping and sustainable rural development.

More specifically, it is intended to:

• To enhance the existing resources in the place of action through activities compatible with the protection figures to which it is subject.
• To raise awareness of beekeeping through guided tours and specific courses.
• Develop environmental education activities such as trails and educational routes related to flora, fauna, geology and landscape to promote respect, the desire for conservation and knowledge of the traditional uses and constructions of the area among visitors.
• To promote knowledge of the traditional landscapes of the Sierra de Madrid through signposted routes.

The actions to be carried out are:

• Adaptation of a thematic path, a garden of honey flora and a didactic apiary.
• Adaptation of signposted routes in a wider area of the property.
• Design and installation of posters and preparation of informative material.
