The purpose of this project is to develop the call, management, evaluation and delivery of the Spanish edition of the “European Business Awards for the Environment” competition.

The purpose of this project is to develop the call, management, evaluation and delivery of the Spanish edition of the “European Business Awards for the Environment” competition.

The celebration of these awards, which are convened biennially by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for the Environment, has a threefold objective:

• To promote and disseminate the Spanish call for the European Business Awards for the Environment, which are awarded biennially by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for the Environment.
• To encourage responsible social and environmental behaviour in Spanish companies, as well as to promote the application of technologies and systems to different areas of activity or in other geographical areas.
• To give public recognition to the work and effort made by companies that have adopted innovative solutions and that have proven to achieve a benefit for sustainable development, in the various categories covered by these awards: Management, Product and/or service, Process, International Cooperation and Communication.
