La Casa Encendida in Madrid will be the setting where the two entities will celebrate European Parks Day on 26 May.
The first European national parks were declared in Sweden on May 24, 1909. To commemorate that day, the EUROPARC Federation celebrated for the first time on that date in 1999 the European Day of Parks.
