The proposal Explore your river aims to promote citizen participation in nature conservation, through an environmental education project on the river basins of Cantabria.

This initiative, aimed at students between the ages of ten and twelve, also proposes the creation of a network for the exchange of information and data between schools.

The project is developed in 80 percent of the territory of Cantabria, in rural areas that comprise 69 municipalities of the community, and consists of three differentiated phases: theoretical training phase, practical research phase and informative phase.
