The general objective of the project is to develop an environmental training plan for women workers in tourism service and product companies in Galicia.

The general objective of the project is to develop an environmental training plan for women workers in tourism service and product companies in Galicia.

The plan will be permanently integrated into the training project promoted by the Tourism Sustainability Plan that includes several municipalities in the region.

The initiative is aimed at women, both managers of tourism companies and their workers to expand their training and improve the viability of their businesses, as well as residents in Galicia who wish to improve their employment profile to take advantage of opportunities for reconversion or complementation of their professional activity with tourism activity.

In addition, it is about promoting the environmental training of women who work in the primary sector and/or services, in order to provide them with alternative ways of professional development and economic sustenance based on the use of the tourist potential of the space in which they live.

The training plan will emphasize the value of natural resources and their sustainable use.
