Through this initiative, the College of Forestry Engineers tries to make hunting use more sustainable.
Through this initiative, the College of Forestry Engineers tries to make hunting use more sustainable, contributing to the conservation of habitats included in hunting grounds, to their compatibility with other species of flora and fauna, and to the improvement of biodiversity and economic development in rural areas.
With this, it seeks to achieve a higher level of demand on the part of the autonomous communities in the projects they process, so that the Hunting Management Projects or Technical Hunting Plans (PTC), mandatory in all the autonomous communities and with an average validity of five years, are presented under minimum acceptable technical contents. In this way, they will be environmentally, socially, economically and culturally sustainable.
Among the activities to develop this project are:
- Edition of the book “Manual of Hunting Management” and informative brochures
- Holding of technical information conferences
