The II National Congress of Livestock Roads is held in Cáceres on October 26, 27 and 28, as a forum for debate and exchange of strategies on the current and future use that should be given to these roads.
The San Francisco Cultural Complex, in Cáceres, will host the attendance of about 300 people to these conferences, in which the occupation of the cattle trails will be analyzed, as well as their state of conservation. The participants will be technicians and directors of provincial councils, city councils, the environment and companies related to rural tourism.
The conferences will serve to find solutions so that, in practice, these roads are considered ecological corridors. Among the objectives to be achieved is to give continuity to the conclusions obtained in the I Congress and to create a forum discussion or opinion open between the different administrations, institutions, specialists and individuals, analysing and debating the various aspects related to livestock routes.
Attendance at the congress, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Junta de Extremadura, is free.
