Implementation of a holistic system for the agroecological transition of traditional woody crops in Doñana (AGRODOÑANA)

MITECO

  • The project seeks to promote the agroecological transition in the traditional woody crops of Doñana (olive groves, vines, citrus and almond trees).
  • To this end, it will create an Agroecological Network in Doñana with 500 farmers and professionals who exchange knowledge and participate in different activities. In addition, they will develop an innovative information system using satellite image analysis technology and AI to assess sustainability at the farm level. They will analyse the potential of valuing ecosystem services as complementary income for farmers.
