The project aims to develop the current facilities of the Casa del Oso Cantábrico, a cultural, recreational and informative space that has been operating for years in the Palencia town of Verdeña, managed by the Brown Bear Foundation.

The project aims to develop the current facilities of the Casa del Oso Cantábrico, a cultural, recreational and informative space that has been operating for years in the Palencia town of Verdeña, managed by the Brown Bear Foundation.

To this end, the construction of a Multipurpose Classroom is planned in a building rehabilitated for this purpose within the same plot on which La Casa del Oso is located. The classroom is fundamentally intended as a facility to develop awareness-raising and environmental education activities with local school groups, so it must be equipped with the necessary furniture and means.

A space in the classroom has been reserved for an auxiliary warehouse and the possible location of a solar energy installation (panels and accumulators), to serve the different rooms of the center.
