InfoAdapta-Agri is a climate change adaptation project in the agricultural sector, which aims to inform, communicate, raise awareness and train farmers and ranchers on specific measures that they can implement on their farms to alleviate the negative effects generated by climate change.

The main activity of the project is to disseminate specific practices of adaptation to climate change among professionals in the agricultural sector, to promote versatility in farmers and ranchers when making decisions about farms. To this end, four sectoral manuals have been prepared that include these measures: rainfed herbaceous, irrigated herbaceous, livestock and woody crops. These manuals are supported by an informative quadriptych that summarizes the actions of the project.

At the same time, a 20-hour online course has been set up based on the information in the manuals.

On the other hand, 55 dissemination talks have been held throughout the Spanish territory, with the aim of training and informing farmers and ranchers on adaptation to climate change. To this end, previously, the technicians of the different UPA territories have been trained, providing them with the necessary knowledge to transmit in the days explained.

Finally, a final day of presentation of the results of InfoAdapta-Agri was held, in which there was an overwhelming response due to the interest that the project has aroused in professionals in the sector. This conference was attended by farmers and ranchers who shared their experiences on what measures they are currently using to try to alleviate the effects of climate change.
