The initiative aims to achieve an adequate level of information and awareness among the inhabitants and visitors of the main cities of the Spanish state about the problem of climate change.

In addition, changes will be promoted in four fundamental axes in the urban environment: energy, transport, urban planning and consumption, in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change.

Specific objectives include:

• To provide the inhabitants and visitors of the municipalities with general information on the problem of climate change.
• To disseminate the contents and methodology of the workshops developed in phases I and II of the project.
• To convey and demonstrate the enormous transformative potential of participatory action by citizens in the design and management of low-carbon cities in energy, transport, urban planning and consumption.
• To encourage and make the participation of citizens in the development of alternatives in the habits and models of the four axes a reality.

All this through training and informative activities. Thus, the so-called general information notebook and a comic aimed at children and young people will be published. The dissemination will be carried out both at the conferences that will take place in Valencia, Seville, Barcelona and Valladolid, as well as through online training activities.

In terms of training, it is worth highlighting the holding of an online training course through the Ecologists in Action website, aimed at professionals in education in general and environmental education at no cost to students.

In addition, a short film will be produced on the participatory action of citizens in the design and management of low-carbon cities, which will last 10 to 15 minutes. The dissemination will be carried out through the internet and projected at the conference.
