The initiative consists of a set of training, awareness-raising and advisory actions that contribute to increasing the skills and qualifications of those who carry out their activity, preferably in rural areas.

It aims to transfer information that promotes the adaptability of the economic activities of this territory to environmental requirements, through the development of informative tools.

The recipients of the project are workers, managers, owners of SMEs or agricultural companies, self-employed professionals related to the different productive sectors of the area. In addition, other productive sectors linked to the territory will be taken into account, such as forest certification and the transformation of wood for construction.

It will also seek to influence the application of energy efficiency measures in construction and the use of waste from forestry exploitation for the generation of renewable energies. To this end, knowledge will be taught on certification of sustainable forest management, common industrial waste in the rural environment and design of photovoltaic plant projects, forest bioenergy and their applications.
