The project will serve to launch the Galician Biosphere Network and boost the management of the Reserves.

The Centre for University Extension and Environmental Dissemination of Galicia (CEIDA) seeks to launch the Galician Biosphere Network, boost the management of the Reserves and develop a joint strategy for communication, education and public participation in the Biosphere Reserves of Galicia with the project “Implementation of the Galician Network of Biosphere Reserves”. The initiative contemplates the development of a joint strategy for communication, education and public participation in Biosphere Reserves.

Among the expected results, it seeks to diagnose the demands, needs and shortcomings detected in each Reserve and detect opportunities for cooperation between them. Likewise, public participation is sought with the campaign “Know your Biosphere Reserve” on social networks, and the dynamization of the participation bodies.

Among the activities to be developed are:

• Communication, education and public participation campaign in the Biosphere Reserves of Galicia
