The mission of this initiative was to inform citizens about the importance of maintaining agricultural activities in the fight against desertification. An attempt was made to publicize the best agricultural practices as well as the problems associated with the abandonment of this activity.

The mission of this initiative was to inform citizens about the importance of maintaining agricultural activities in the fight against desertification. An attempt was made to publicize the best agricultural practices as well as the problems associated with the abandonment of this activity.

This project consisted of the implementation of a travelling exhibition in the province of Segovia, with information on what desertification is, its causes and consequences, and the importance of maintaining the population in rural areas.

Complementary activities to help better understand the link between the agricultural environment and desertification included workshops for schoolchildren and conferences for adults.
