The project is aimed at transforming the logistics and road transport company into a source of green employment.
By training the workers of the logistics and road transport company, in any labor regime (salaried or self-employed), in the areas of energy efficiency, reduction of the carbon footprint and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), it is expected to achieve a change in the processes that integrate logistics and road transport activity towards energy efficiency. In this way, higher levels of sustainability will be achieved and the environmental impact of these companies will be reduced, allowing the sector to generate a greater supply of green employment.
To achieve the proposed objectives, the initiative proposes the implementation of eight actions. Those of a training nature address three different areas that converge in green logistics.
The target audience of the project is workers of SMEs, micro-SMEs and the self-employed in the logistics and road transport sector. The sector covers all activities related to the movement and storage of products that take place between the points of purchase and those of consumption.
