The main objective of the initiative is based on contributing to the conservation of biodiversity in Spain through thestrengthening the action of associations and foundations working in the field of policies related to the conservation of nature and natural, cultural and landscape heritage.

The main objective of the initiative was to contribute to the conservation of biodiversity in Spain by strengthening the action of associations and foundations working in the field of policies related to the conservation of nature and natural, cultural and landscape heritage. This project has led to the implementation of the Observatory of the Third Environmental Sector, a commitment of the Association of Private Foundations for Nature Conservation, to the dissemination of information. It is a first step to generate this body of reference and promotion of the activity of all the entities in the sector.

Within the framework of the project, 16 publications have been produced, in the format of field notebooks, in which different topics of interest to entities of the third environmental sector and other agents with influence on environmental issues are developed. These notebooks provide reflections on nature conservation from the perspective of the environmental third sector.
