The project consists of the design and development of a nationwide public awareness campaign to raise awareness of the importance of fighting climate change, reducing CO2 emissions, promoting sustainable mobility habits and preserving biodiversity.
The ideal means to achieve this objective are the greenways, old railway routes out of service that since 1993 have been rehabilitated as non-motorized itineraries for use on foot, by bicycle and by people with reduced mobility and in which dissemination, training and public awareness activities are carried out.
This campaign encourages users of greenways and the general population to quantify the savings in CO2 emissions they obtain when they travel on greenways by non-polluting means.
