The objective of this initiative is the creation of a business fabric associated with the truffle product and mycology, which allows the generation of employment and sustainable economic activities.

In addition, it intends to create the product “Micotrufa” as a quality brand in nurseries and the pilot experience “Micolonjas”, transformation, marketing and tourism companies associated with the sector. Likewise, it wants to respond to the need and expectations generated in the regions of Molina de Aragón-Alto Tajo and the Serranía de Cuenca, object of the “Truffle Culture” project, as well as to start working on mycological management for a sustainable and orderly use of this resource, which can be the basis for the development of this economic sector.

The project aims to generate employment and sustainable economic activities by attracting and advising workers to stop the depopulation of the rural environment of these regions.

The recipients are workers linked or who can be linked to the rural development of the sectors that are intended to be consolidated. Rural women who can embark on new forms of associationism and cooperativism for the production of mycological and truffle production, as well as the economic sectors that can be linked to them, will be of special interest.
