The exhibition is an exhibition on Spanish biodiversity, with the aim of preserving it and raising awareness among the general public of the dangers that lie in wait for it. Until January 22, the public will be able to visit the exhibition at the Centro Cultural de la Misericordia in Palma de Mallorca.

Through fifty large-format images, the work of prestigious nature photographers, the exhibition brings the visitor closer to the elements, processes and cycles that endow the planet with the most surprising phenomenon of the cosmos, liveliness or habitability. The tour of the exhibition takes us to know the multiple faces of life, with the comments of prestigious scientists, directed by Joaquín Araujo.

The exhibition narrates in spectacular images concrete stories of the effort of some species that opposed great transformations. Through this tour, the visitor will be able to find out what is the cause of snakes causing rejection and bears or primates arousing sympathy or tenderness.

The exhibition is structured in five sections. Namely: “What is life, do we know how to live?”; “The vital systems of Spain (endemism). Our multiplicity”; “Uses and abuses”; “Rescue operations” and “Towards coexistence with life. Liveliness as a model”.

The idea is to get closer to the rest of the inhabitants of this world and learn about their enormous efforts to stay alive, and thus be able to contribute to mitigating, as far as possible, the irreversible loss that the extinction of species entails.

The project contemplates the dissemination of the exhibition through newspapers, televisions and other media, to raise awareness among citizens about the threats to biodiversity and the need to preserve it. In addition, educational centers will be invited to visit the exhibition, on which didactic material will be developed.
