The proposal consists of recovering water points in a rainfed agricultural area in the Gallecs Natural Park, province of Barcelona, to facilitate the long-term presence of amphibian populations.

The proposal consists of recovering water points in a rainfed agricultural area in the Gallecs Natural Park, province of Barcelona, to facilitate the long-term presence of amphibian populations.

The space where the water points will be recovered includes naturalized areas of stagnant bodies of water, ponds for irrigation and temporary bodies of water, very important for the reproduction of amphibians. With the recovery of this aquatic ecosystem, it is expected to favor the long-term presence of these populations.

The actions to be carried out to achieve this are:

• Contribution of plant elements at strategic points.
• Systematic control and monitoring of water points to control their colonization.
• Authorised introduction of species with possible difficulties.
• Implementation of workshops, courses, talks and activities in the educational centers of the area.
