The project aims to promote new business and employment opportunities in rural areas of Extremadura, trying to improve the territory of the region and minimising the accumulation of waste generated by agricultural and livestock and forestry farms.

The project aims to promote new business and employment opportunities in rural areas of Extremadura, trying to improve the territory of the region and minimising the accumulation of waste generated by agricultural and livestock and forestry farms.

This initiative will collect information on existing waste, its treatment and disposal systems. To this end, a report will be drawn up that reflects the type of natural waste existing or generated by companies and the treatment currently given to them. It will also collect information on the industrial sectors, their current situation, how companies manage their waste and the possible lines of work and recovery activities that are currently being carried out.

In addition, a series of training activities will be launched that will be carried out in person and online.

The recipients of the project are workers of SMEs, micro-SMEs, and the self-employed in the autonomous community of Extremadura.
