The project aims to contribute to the conservation of the Albuferas de Adra through actions to improve knowledge and awareness for the protection and conservation of the existing flora and fauna.

The project aims to contribute to the conservation of the Albuferas de Adra through actions to improve knowledge and awareness for the protection and conservation of the existing flora and fauna.

Specifically, it is intended to raise awareness among the population about the high ecological value of the Nature Reserve, to assess the repercussions that human activity in the area has on the environment and to learn about the different ways of using the wetland’s resources throughout history and their socio-economic and environmental consequences.

The actions of this project include the following:

• Setting up an exhibition on the lagoons.
• Projection of a video about the lagoons.
• Organization of conferences aimed at professionals, farmers, educators, technicians and the general public.
• Holding workshops on the use of wetland resources.
• Guided tours of the lagoons with the different schools of the municipality.
