The project addresses the implementation of a comprehensive and demonstrative model of river stewardship that covers all aspects of conservation of the river environment. To this end, it also has the collaboration of the Duero Hydrographic Confederation and the participation and involvement of other key actors to achieve the good state of conservation of the Hoces del Riaza environment, as required by the Water Framework Directive.

To this end, it also has the collaboration of the Duero Hydrographic Confederation and the participation and involvement of other key actors to achieve the good state of conservation of the Hoces del Riaza environment, as required by the Water Framework Directive.
Several initiatives are proposed with a view to the new hydrological planning period 2014-2015 to reach the good state of conservation of water bodies established by the Water Framework Directive.
It also aims to achieve the objectives of the state of conservation of river habitats and species established by the Habitat Directive.
The project is developed according to the following action plan:
