Rural women of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park

The initiative consists of the production of audiovisual materials that contribute to highlighting the relevance of the women inhabitants of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park in the environmental conservation of the environment.

A photographic exhibition will be held and a DVD will be released that will reflect the activity of these women in their rural environment. In a second phase of the project, these materials will be used to raise awareness among the population of the Natural Park about the importance of preserving natural heritage from a gender perspective. This work will be carried out through a series of workshops.

Through these actions, the women of the Sierra de Aroche Natural Park will be able to see their social relevance improved as active agents in the conservation of natural heritage and the promotion of sustainable development in the area.

In addition, they will be made aware of the important role they play and can play in the conservation of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development through the awareness-raising materials generated in the project.
