This project, developed in Argentina, aimed to protect the natural environments of the buffer area of the Iguazú National Park, and the provincial protected areas, also promoting the sustainable development of the communities of the Mbya Guaraní People and the small rural producers of the northern core of the Province of Misiones.

The initiative focused on these two population sectors, since they are involved in the advancement of the agricultural frontier through unsustainable practices for this type of forest, one of the most threatened in the world.

On the one hand, it was intended to recover and develop the crops native to the area (corn, peanuts, cassava, sweet potato) and the traditional foods made with these inputs. On the other hand, it was planned to raise awareness and frame peasant production in practices of conservation and protection of the environment.
