This project seeks to combine the sustainability implied by the conservation of the Atlantic Forest of the Alto Paraná with the survival and improvement of the quality of life of the peasant and indigenous population of the area.

This project seeks to combine the sustainability implied by the conservation of the Atlantic Forest of the Alto Paraná with the survival and improvement of the quality of life of the peasant and indigenous population of the area.

The “Los Lapachos” farm is located in the great soybean patch of Paraguay, where the Atlantic forest of the Upper Paraná has been drastically deforested, however, within this property it has been preserved to this day. On the other hand, the large farms have turned their backs on small producers or peasants as well as on indigenous communities, which have been confined to the last vestiges of their habitat.

In this way, the actions that are developed seek to ensure the food of the peasants of the territory through the creation of family gardens with adequate technical advice, as well as the diversification of activities that are compatible with the conservation of the Atlantic Forest and with the indigenous communities.
