The project aims to analyse and develop a resource management plan for the Alto Bernesga Biosphere Reserve, province of León, with enormous biological, geological and cultural wealth.

The project aims to analyse and develop a resource management plan for the Alto Bernesga Biosphere Reserve, province of León, with enormous biological, geological and cultural wealth.

The study will cover the following activities:

• Determination of the resources that are within the area of action of the Alto Bernesga Biosphere Reserve.
• Analysis of the conservation of landscapes, ecosystems, species and genetic diversity.
• Proposal of actions for the environmental improvement of the landscape.
• Management of socio-cultural and ecologically sustainable economic and human development.
• Identification of a set of guidelines for sustainable management and management with a view to the conservation of biological diversity.
• Preparation of a dissemination manual for the dissemination of results.

In short, this project will try to design a basic tool for territorial and environmental management whose purpose is to ensure the conservation and development of the landscape units of the Alto Bernesga.
