This is one of the actions of a broader project, which has the support of the Biodiversity Foundation, which seeks to generate and carry out management proposals for sustainable hunting in the Pico Basilé National Park, and for the development of the rural population settled in it and who make use of this resource. focused on the search for alternatives to hunting and the support of the government’s plans and strategies.
The overall objective of the project is to conserve the animal species that are hunted in the Pico Basilé National Park, such as monkeys, antelopes or rodents, attending to the development needs of the local population that lives around the park and makes use of this resource.
