This initiative aims to contribute to the conservation of the biodiversity of the ENPs of these four countries, as well as to the sustainable development of their human communities.

To this end, work will be done on the adequate and complete training of those responsible for the management of the Protected Natural Areas (ENP) of these countries.

The proposal seeks to improve their knowledge and skills to apply the most appropriate management methods and techniques for these territories, as well as to network and improve access to resources and financial instruments with which to achieve biodiversity conservation goals. All this through systems compatible with adequate development and socio-economic progress of the population, the ultimate beneficiary of conservation actions.

To achieve these objectives, the following actions will be carried out:

  • Holding an international seminar for managers and managers of ENPs.
  • Preparation of a practical manual for the management of ENPs adapted to the territory of the project.
  • Creation of the Network of ENP Managers and Managers in the Portuguese-speaking world.
