The project aims to contribute to the conservation of the environment and biodiversity and the socio-economic development of the natural areas of Andalusia.
To this end, business training and the promotion of emerging and environmentally responsible economic activities, linked to sustainable tourism, in the natural areas of Andalusia will be promoted.
Activities related to nature tourism, the sale of local artisanal and agri-food products, ethnographic and territorial interpretation, or new tourist activities emerging in natural areas, such as salt tourism and marine tourism (pescaturismo) are the main economic areas of natural areas, which currently promote their socio-economic development.
In addition to the detailed actions, the project will have an e-learning platform, through which the training actions will be developed and a website, www.andanaturaformacion.com, which will serve as an information, dissemination and meeting point for the professionals to whom the project is directed.
This initiative aims to obtain an overview of existing and emerging tourism-related economic activities in the natural areas of Andalusia, promoting the modernisation, innovation and adaptation of SMEs and micro-SMEs to technological, economic and social changes, to make them more competitive in the market and more environmentally responsible.
The recipients of the initiative are workers and managers of SMEs and micro-SMEs, self-employed workers and agricultural workers such as ranchers, farmers, shepherds, day laborers, farm guards or sea workers, who reside or carry out their activity in the natural areas of Andalusia, primarily in municipalities totally or partially linked to protected areas.
