This project consisted of the organization of the meeting “Zero Emissions, solutions for sustainable living, international film week and debates”. It was based on documentary film screenings, lectures and discussions with experts from all areas relating to sustainability and environmental protection.

This project consisted of the organization of the meeting “Zero Emissions, solutions for sustainable living, international film week and debates”. It was based on documentary film screenings, lectures and discussions with experts from all areas relating to sustainability and environmental protection.

The aim of the initiative was to achieve solutions for a sustainable life by offering entertainment and information activities to all audiences in various areas: climate change, natural resources, economy, energy, biodiversity, consumption and eco-design, food and sustainable society.

In addition, a “Zero Emissions” protocol was signed by the attendees by which they committed to take measures to lead a sustainable life. The emissions of the attendees were offset with the payment of one euro, with which trees will be planted in the PAU de las Tablas on a property ceded by the City Council of Madrid and with the collaboration of the + Trees Foundation.

The meeting was completed with an eco-design exhibition and the presentation of the “Short Films for Sustainability” awards from the Ecology and Development Foundation (Ecodes).
