It seeks to promote the increase of knowledge, skills and qualifications of workers in the beverage production sector, in concepts of sustainability and eco-innovation.
The project is aimed at workers in the food industry, or suppliers of specific technologies for the sector. Specifically, the face-to-face training actions are aimed at workers in the alcoholic beverage (wine) and non-alcoholic beverage (juice) industry.
The training will focus on the techniques for applying clean production concepts and other tools for environmental improvement and eco-efficiency. The rational use of resources (water, energy, raw materials) and the use of by-products (very abundant and with significant potential for recovery) that are generated both in the wine production sector and in the fruit juice production sector will be encouraged.
The project also includes a series of specific diagnostic actions to collect real information to develop specific teaching material for wineries and juice production plants.
