Training scholarships to promote youth climate action at the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
The COP30 Climate Generation initiative is being developed in 2025 through a public call for training grants promoted by the Biodiversity Foundation, F.S.P., on a competitive basis.
This new edition seeks to facilitate the active participation of four young people in the next Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP30), to be held in Belém do Pará (Brazil), from November 10 to 21, 2025, while promoting their practical training in the field of climate change.
The four young people who pass this process will be part of the Spanish delegation that will attend COP30, will participate in preparatory events and receive training, in collaboration with the Spanish Office for Climate Change.
This initiative reinforces the commitment to the professionalization of the environmental sector, youth participation and the construction of a fair and resilient future in the face of the risks and impacts of climate change.
