1st Legal Technician (temporary) for the General Secretariat Area

You will perform the functions of the position defined for the area as a legal technician for the implementation and
monitoring of grants and matters related to the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

  • Support in the procedures related to calls for proposals for grants: drafting of the regulations and calls for proposals, regulatory impact analysis report of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) grants.
  • Support in the analysis and follow-up of the evolution of the status of the phases of each Call for Proposals.
  • Participation in the drafting of forms and models.
  • Publications, queries and communications to the National Grants Database (BDNS).
  • Preparation of documents for the Evaluation Committees and administrative documents related to the calls for proposals.
  • Review of administrative documentation of the applications.
  • Elaboration of work programs adapted to the different phases of each Call for Proposals.
  • Resolution of doubts of the technical areas in grants and subsidies.
  • Evaluation of documentation of proposals submitted to calls for proposals.
  • Follow-up of the work of the Technical Assistance responsible for the review of the administrative documentation of the grants.
  • Participation and follow-up of documents and aid reimbursement procedures.
  • Monitoring of new developments in regulations, strategies, plans, programs or projects related to the ERDF.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Coordination, Sub-direction and/or Direction.
  • University degree (also formerly Diploma and Bachelor’s degree) in the field of Social Sciences and Law.
  • At least 3 years of experience in processing public grants and subsidies.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the review and processing of applications for public aid and subsidies acquired in companies or public institutions and agencies.
  • Experience in European Structural and Investment Funds (ESI Funds).
  • Postgraduate training in matters related to the Law of Subsidies and public calls for proposals, and administrative law.
  • Complementary training in matters related to the activities to be performed: Law on Subsidies, Law on Foundations, Law 39 and 40/2015, among others.
  • Temporary fixed-term contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of FIRST TECHNICIAN.
  • Gross Annual Salary: 31.611,50 €.
  • Maximum expected duration: maximum until 12/31/2029
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
