Call for 1 position of 1st Economic Technician (temporary) for the Economic and Human Capital Area.FCH.TEP.8


Under the Head of Unit, management of the economic management activities of
the Biodiversity Foundation (FB), especially of the projects financed with European Union Funds
in the 2021-2027 Operational Programme (ESF, FEMP, ERDF and Life)

  • Monitoring and review of project contracts, supporting the
    areas in the incidents that arise, management of invoices and their processing in the
    computer tool according to FB procedures.
  • Prepare any economic document of the projects that are necessary
    for their economic, financial and budgetary management according to the
    procedures of the FB.
  • Review the settlement reports of the subsidies/grants of the
    calls for projects.
  • Advise and support project teams in any economic task
    they may need (hiring, justifications, documentation stamping
    , data recording, report review, etc.)
  • Review documentation for signature of the Deputy Director and Management.
  • To help and provide training to the Areas to process contracting and other
    processes of the Procedures and Contracting Manual.
  • Support in the economic and budgetary part of the hiring as
    Financial Support Technicians.
  • Write and update the manuals and action guides of the different
    established procedures related to economic management and that
    bring the procedures closer to practical management in computer
    tools or ERP.
  • To participate in the drafting of documents, reports and reports relating to economic matters
    and especially those that must be sent to the Board of Trustees.
  • Support in project requirements and audits.
  • Support in requests for documentation and information from IGAE, the Court
    of Auditors and other institutions in audits.
  • Relationship with suppliers and service providers.
  • University degree (also formerly Diploma and Bachelor’s degree) in the
    branch of Social Sciences (Business Administration and Management, Economics and/or
    Business, Political and Administration Sciences or equivalent).
  • Experience of at least two years in accounting, economic management of projects and
    subsidies and/or calls for grants.
  • Experience of at least five years in accounting, economic management of projects and subsidies and
    /or calls for grants.
  • Postgraduate training in subjects related to the management of foundations and funds and
  • Experience of at least two years in or for the public sector.
  • Average English proficiency (B1 level or equivalent)

Fixed-term temporary contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with a 1st grade Technical professional category.

29,652.92Location of the job: headquarters of the Biodiversity Foundation in Madrid.
