The project aims to improve access to information and increase the management capacity of protected areas in the area of biodiversity conservation.

The project aims to improve access to information and increase the management capacity of protected areas in the area of biodiversity conservation.

The aim is to incorporate relevant thematic information into the Observatory of Protected Natural Areas of Europarc-Spain, to improve the capacity of the Observatory as a tool for managing and monitoring the state of Protected Areas, to establish a reference point for access to and analysis of information on Protected Natural Areas and to incorporate into the Observatory a database of good practices for the conservation of habitats and species.

In addition, it seeks to promote the exchange of both technical knowledge (managers and planners) and nursery of the Spaces, to initiate a system of indicators that allows to know the influence of the Protected Natural Areas on the conservation of biodiversity and to disseminate the results of the project, informing society about the usefulness of this database on the Internet.
