Coordinator (interim) of the Quality and Studies Area

Lead, during the absence of the person holding the position, the Quality and Studies area at the
Biodiversity Foundation (FB) that participates and provides legal advice in the calls for grants and subsidies assigned to the area under the strategic guidance of the Management and the supervision of the Legal, Financial and Human Capital Sub-Directorate.

  • Coordination, preparation and processing of the legal and administrative part corresponding to the annual calls for grants assigned to the area, as well as, where appropriate, acting as the investigating body for these.
  • Leading the procedures related to subsidies: drafting of the basic orders and calls for proposals, processing, approval, publication, preparation of documents for the Evaluation Committees, resolution, consultations and communications to the BDNS, subsequent review of the administrative documentation of the applications.
  • Evaluation of the legal-administrative documentation of proposals submitted to calls for proposals.
  • Legal assistance and resolution of doubts in the technical areas in aid and subsidies or of any other legal nature related to the calls
  • Preparation, attendance and drafting of the minutes of the Evaluation Committees.
  • Coordination and follow-up of the processing of aid reimbursements.
  • Management, monitoring and resolution of legal incidents relating to the properties owned by the FB.
  • Management of the FB’s Environmental Management System and coordination of its working group.
  • Management of the system for calculating, verifying and offsetting the FB’s Carbon Footprint and coordinating its working group.
  • Dialogue with the external assistance company and with the audit company of the FB Environmental Management System.
  • Dialogue with the external assistance company, with the verification company and the compensation of the Carbon Footprint of the FB.
  • Adaptation of the FB’s Internal Procedures Manuals on equality and its own values.
  • Collaborate in the design, implementation and monitoring of the FB Equality Plan.
  • Analysis and implementation of the gender perspective in FB activities.
  • Dialogue with the external assistance company for the incorporation of the gender perspective in the FB.
  • Coordination of the gender group of the FB.
  • Dialogue, drafting of documents and participation in the activities required by the Equality Unit of MITECO.
  • Preparation of studies on issues related to the territorial actions of the FB.
  • Analysis and implementation of trends and existing projects on matters related to environmental awareness.
  • Coordination and planning of the work of the area team.
  • Preparation of reports and any additional relevant tasks as requested or any other function entrusted by the Sub-Directorate and/or Management of the Foundation.
  • Bachelor’s or law degree.
  • Master’s degree or postgraduate and/or doctorate training.
  • Qualification or training in team management and/or human resources management.
  • Training in State aid.
  • Experience in managing people or teams.
  • Experience of at least 5 years in legal advice or in the management of calls co-financed with public funds and European funds.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the public sector.

  • Specific training in matters related to the activities to be carried out: Subsidies, Law on Foundations, Law 39 and 40/2015, BDNS, European funding, among others.
  • Professional experience of at least 5 years in work areas with similar functions within the foundational public sector
  • Temporary contract (interim for the replacement of a person with the right to reserve a post) in accordance with current legislation, with a coordinator category.
  • Location of the position: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
  • Gross Annual Salary: €56,146.64
