The Secretary General for Territory and Biodiversity and President of the Biodiversity Foundation, Antonio Serrano, and the Director General of the Biodiversity Foundation, María Artola, will present tomorrow, March 9, at 12:00 p.m., the 56 environmental projects for 2006 co-financed by the European Social Fund (F.S.E.) worth 25 million euros.
During this event, four entities that carried out environmental actions in 2005 will announce the results obtained. These are the University of Vigo, the Official Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Guadalajara, the Trade Union Institute of Work, Environment and Health (ISTAS), and the Spanish Network for Rural Development.
The 56 entities that will carry out training, awareness-raising and environmental needs analysis projects in 2006 belong to 14 autonomous communities. These actions, co-financed by the European Social Fund of which the Biodiversity Foundation is the manager, are part of the Operational Programme “Entrepreneurship and Continuous Training” of the European Social Fund for Objective 1 and 3 regions during the period 2000-2006.
