The Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge has presented today in the Port of Motril (Granada) the itinerant exhibition of the Pleamar Program “Seven years of projects to promote the sustainability of fisheries and aquaculture”, which during the months of June and July can be visited in different parts of the coast of Granada.
From tomorrow until June 16, the informative and photographic exhibition can be visited at the Guardia Civil barracks in Castell de Ferro. The second stop will be at the Plaza Marruecos in Almuñécar, where it will be on display from June 17 to 30. Finally, it will travel to the Real Club Náutico del Puerto de Motril, where it will remain from July 2 to 14.
This exhibition, whose itinerancy is co-financed by the European Maritime Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFF), is composed of four information panels and about twenty images summarizing the main results of the projects co-financed by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund during the 2014-2020 period.
The exhibition, which has already visited Burela (Lugo), Vigo (Pontevedra), Puerto Real (Cádiz) and Ceuta, seeks to bring the public closer to the importance of the fishing and aquaculture sectors in the conservation of marine ecosystems and as key drivers of the blue economy.
