V Forum on the Environment and Local World

This conference aims to be a meeting point between all public and private agents in the field of sustainability, and is aimed at technical and political representatives from the 311 municipalities of the province of Barcelona as well as entities and companies in the sector.

The Forum will offer inspiring presentations, working groups and spaces for exchange on thematic itineraries: the energy transition and climate action, the naturalisation of cities and towns and socio-environmental challenges.

The Forum includes an itinerary of ‘Naturalization of cities and towns‘ in which it is planned to organize a round table in which people with a professional career recognized on the national and international scene will participate. The session will establish different reflections and debates around concepts such as Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), adaptation, resilience and the transformation of these spaces.

The director of the Biodiversity Foundation, Elena Pita, will participate in a round table that will take place on Tuesday 28 February between 1 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. .
