Reporting to the Coordination of the Ecosystem Conservation and Restoration Area, to promote communication, awareness and environmental education actions for the proper development of projects financed with European Union funds, achieving the best media impact.

  • Coordinate and execute actions in the area of communication, awareness and environmental education.
  • Supervision of the image of the area’s projects financed with European Union funds.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, conferences and events.
  • Relationship with the media and preparation of a list of local and national media in the sector with which to work in order to transfer the contents arising from these projects.
  • Preparation of press clipping of all the news that appear in the media related to the projects.
  • Preparation of press releases, news, electronic bulletins and publications in social networks of the area’s projects.
  • Preparation of speeches and presentations.
  • Preparation of publications, summaries and reports of activities and results.
  • Coordination and management of the area’s web pages and platforms.
  • Contracting and preparation of informative and awareness-raising materials.
  • Tracking of results for indicator reporting.
  • Preparation of project documentation and information reports.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Coordination, the Deputy Director and the Directorate.
  • University degree (also formerly Bachelor’s degree) in Journalism.
  • Master’s degree related to the content of the position: environmental and/or scientific communication.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in the tasks described above.
  • Upper-intermediate level of English: B2 or equivalent according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
  • Professional experience in biodiversity conservation and sustainable use projects.
  • Experience in the management of community funds.
  • Experience in the public sector.
  • Knowledge of website and social media management.
  • In view of the characteristics of the job position, having a pre-existing fixed and indefinite relationship in the state public sector will be taken into account.
