1 Technician (interim) for the Area of Research and Climate Change

- Participate in the preparation of documents associated with calls for grants and contracts (tenders and other contracts) launched from the area. Manage these processes and resolve doubts to the requesting entities.
- Evaluate the proposals submitted to the calls for proposals and contracting.
- Accompany the entities and carry out the technical and economic follow-up of the projects and the justification, liquidation and payment procedures.
- Produce technical reports and content for dissemination and communication.
- To support the control and auditing processes of the activities developed.
- Participate in the organization and attend meetings and events related to the area’s activity.
- Elaborate and design action proposals for the fulfillment of the area’s objectives and for the best performance of the tasks of execution, evaluation, follow-up and control of the projects.
- Monitor developments in regulations, strategies, plans, programs and projects related to the area and its activities: identification of best practices and activities, preparation of speeches and presentations, participation in publications, etc.
- Prepare documentation and information reports on projects and procurements (databases, indicators, reports, presentations, graphic material, notifications, etc.).
- Any other function entrusted by the Heads, Coordination, Subdirection and/or Direction.
- University Degree (also former Bachelor’s Degree and Diploma).
- At least one year of experience in the management of projects related to the environment.
- At least one year’s experience in the management of calls for proposals and public funds related to the environment.
- At least one year of experience in the public sector.
- Experience in the environmental third sector.
- English medium proficiency (B2 level or equivalent).
- Temporary interim contract for the execution of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. (Fifth additional provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the following category
professional technician. - Gross Annual Salary: 26.340,02€.
- Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
- Expected date of incorporation: immediate.
- Initially foreseen duration: maternity leave.
