Management of treasury, budgeting and accounting activities, within the framework of the European structural funds of the 2021-2027 operational programmes: European Social Fund (ESF+), European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), and European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF) as well as funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (RTRP), Next Generation EU.

  • Follow-up and review of project contracting, supporting the areas in the incidents that arise, management of invoices and their processing in the IT tool according to FB procedures.
  • Prepare any economic document of the projects that are necessary for their economic, financial and budgetary management according to FB procedures.
  • Review the reports on the liquidation of the subsidies/aid of the project calls.
  • Advise and support the project teams in any economic task they may need (contracting, justifications, documentation stamping, data recording, report review, among others).
  • Review documentation for signature of the Deputy Director and Management.
  • Assist and provide training to the Areas in the processing of contracting and other processes of the Procedures and Contracting Manual.
  • Support in the economic and budgetary part of hiring as Financial Support Technicians.
  • Draft and update the manuals and action guides of the different procedures established in relation to economic management and that bring the procedures closer to the practical management in the computer tools or ERP.
  • Participate in the drafting of documents, reports and reports related to economic matters and especially those to be submitted to the Board of Trustees.
  • Support in project requirements and audits.
  • Support in requests for documentation and information from the IGAE, the Court of Auditors and other institutions in audits.
  • Relationship with suppliers and service providers.
  • Collaborate with the improvement of processes and organize the economic documentation of the projects and of the Area in general, taking into account the Legal Standards and those of the FB.
  • Participate in the process of design, coordination, knowledge transfer, development and implementation of the ERP software tool.
  • Management and control of the external archive of documentation.
  • Support in the preparation and management of documentation, information requirements and communication associated with projects involving various areas.
  • Follow-up, control and management of the information managed and provided to the Legal, Financial and Human Capital Sub-Directorate.
  • Accounting record of all operations to be recorded in the Journal (income, expenses, investments, depreciation, collections, payments, etc.)
  • Participate in the preparation of the Annual Accounts for approval by the Board of Trustees.
  • To control and update the inventory of these collections.
  • Manage the CICEP (Ministry of Finance and Public Function) computer application for economic information.
  • Prepare the quarterly and annual tax settlements before the AEAT of these funds.
  • Preparation of monthly accounting closings.
  • Preparation of the Average Period of Payment to monthly and annual suppliers of these funds.
  • Verify payment remittances.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Chief, the Coordination, the Deputy Director and the Directorate.
  • University degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management/ Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Finance or similar.
  • Work experience of at least four years in the performance of tasks similar to those described above in public or public sector entities.
  • Specific training in auditing and accounting
  • Specific training in taxation and tax advice.
  • Experience in procurement under the public procurement procedure
  • Temporary fixed-term contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds. (Fifth additional provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of FIRST TECHNICIAN.
  • Gross Annual Salary: 31.764,95 €.
  • Location of the position: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
