1st Officer (temporary) of the Research and Climate Change Area

Collaborate and support in the work and activities of the area to facilitate and expedite compliance with the
objectives and functions of the position, within the framework of the National Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) and Next Generation EU.

  • Execute the administrative tasks of the calls for proposals, bids and projects, as well as the general tasks of the area and those related to the reference funds.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers.
  • Review and manage documentation and invoices for the area.
  • Archive and documentation management of the area.
  • Manage the area’s shipping and courier services, calls and general emails.
  • Manage the area’s databases and prepare documentation and information reports using these databases as a basis.
  • Support in the execution of the area’s contracting: requesting budgets, processing contracts and preparing reports within its scope of action.
  • Manage travel related to the area’s activities. Prepare associated expense sheets.
  • Prepare documentation required by the coordination of the area, the headquarters and the technicians.
  • Collaborate in the organization of events and support in their development. Reserve rooms and prepare them for meetings.
  • Elaborate proposals for improvement and contribution to the best performance of the area’s administration tasks.
  • Control and manage the documentation associated with the files. Download and organize documentation associated with calls for proposals.
  • Coding of file documentation in a database.
  • Copying, scanning and collating area documentation.
  • Incorporate in the Science, Technology and Innovation Information System (SICTI) the data related to the entities presented in the calls for grants.
  • Any other function entrusted by the coordination, sub-direction and management.
  • University degree (formerly Diploma and Bachelor’s degree)
  • People with a Professional Training Degree in the area of Administration, Finance and/or Secretarial work may also be selected.
  • People with at least ten years of experience in administrative tasks supporting the management of projects and calls for grants and subsidies may also be selected.
  • Intermediate level of Excel (to be proven by certification)
  • At least three years of experience in or for the public sector.
  • Medium/high level in Office tools.
  • Temporary fixed-term contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with professional category of 1st Officer.
  • Gross Annual Salary: 23.668,55 €.
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
  • Expected duration: June 2026.
